Hey guys, so this morning I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing at 9am. It was my brother Robert and he was insisting that I go to lunch with Gary Vaynerchuk from WineLibraryTV. I had seen a few episodes, but I was definitely not as aware of how cool Gary was. My brother said it would be totally worth and to just go.
So after class... sure enough... I was at Cafe Amore's down on Chambers and Greenwich and I had pizza with Gary and 5 other dudes! That's right, I was the ONLY chick there. I felt very special and very geeky. They were all talking about tech stuff, but surprisingly I could keep up with a lot of the lingo! Sure, sometimes I was lost but they were all so nice and they gave me a lot of inside tips. I met Nate from BricaBox (check it out!) and I made some cool friends, like Mark my new cameraman-buddy ;)
Well thanks to my brother for giving me the push to go out and have lunch with these guys because it was definitely worth it. I learned a lot about what I am missing on Web 2.0 and how to get on the train before it leaves without me.
