So What Happened Yesterday?

Yesterday I went out to Brooklyn for Podcamp NYC.

I met up with some Twitter friends for the first time: @besttechie, @wirelesspacket, @amandagravel, @waltribeiro, @milewis, @billcammak @adamostrow and @technosailor.

I saw famous Twitterers: @chrisbrogan and @pistachio.

And I even made new Twitter friends: @tikijohnny, @drewolanoff, and @4four1ones.

The whole day was spent moving around from session to session listening to some cool people speak about everything from how to market yourself to what OpenID is doing to change the face of social media, how Tiki Bar TV started and how to use Twitter.

Afterwards, a whole bunch of us geeks got together and went "bar-hopping." We started off at the Marriott across from Polytechnic University, then headed to Barcade (yes, a bar slash arcade) and finally made our way back to Union Square to have drinks at The Coffee Shop.

By the end of the night I was pretty tired but I ran into Jessica Mah! We grabbed some sushi (my fave!!) and had an awesome time chatting and sharing stories. She is definitely one of the coolest girls in the tech industry -- and one of the youngest! I can't wait to see what she has up in her sleeve for the future. She's going places.

And she convinced me to take a trip to San Francisco this summer to visit her and hang out with some new techies, so watch out Bay Area!

So that was basically a summary of my Saturday. Now back to uploading videos, watching Family Guy, not doing homework and taking a nap :)
