Seems like the early adopter bandwagon is already sniffing out Identi.ca. People on Twitter are talking about it, FriendFeed is chatting it up... Scoble's checking it out and Louis Gray was "first."
I am not sure if it's going to cause any great revolution but here's one reason it's neat: You can easily subscribe to each person's Identi.ca's (i.e. "tweets" haha) by simply adding "/rss" to their name.
In other words... if you've been following my Twitter through quotably or summize or my archives or any other way... Identi.ca makes it easy for you to follow me by just adding "http://identi.ca/alanataylor/rss" to your feed reader. That way, you can catch up on everything I said... er, Identi.ca'd! (We really need to figure out a name for this verb).
That's nice, no?

In defense of reality... I was not first to this by any means. I was ignoring it all day and grabbed my ID late this evening. I first say it from Marshall Kirkpatrick's post when it hit Google Reader.
Oddly enough, Scoble did say something to the effect of following me, but that was more a nod to being an early adopter than that I'd gotten into identi.ca right away. :-)
There is never a real first person to any of these things. But I did read that you had told Scoble "try days behind" when he said he was a few hours behind you.
I thought that was a bit funny and so that's why I said that you were 'quote' first.
And I also just write whatever comes to mind on my personal blog and oftentimes forget that everyone is getting their names on Google Alerts and checking up on every detail that is written about them.
I really must practice better journalism, dot my i's, cross my t's and get my facts straight.
Sorry about that Louis :)
